With
the benefit of substantial investment on the part
of Ruparelia Group, the school (formally Kabira International
School) has grown from being a small primary school
to become one of Uganda's largest and most modern
international schools. It offers the English National
Curriculum up to age 14 years, when students commence
their two-year IGCSE courses. It is proposed to commence
the IB Diploma in September 2008 for 16-18 year olds.
The primary,
middle school & IGCSE curriculum is fully supported
by and registered with the Department of Education
in England, thus ensuring access to the latest guidance,
advice and initiatives from the UK. The School has
undergone an extensive self study and currently holds
Accreditation status with the 'Council of International
Schools' (CIS) and the 'New England Association of
Schools and Colleges' (NEASC).
A second campus
is due to open early in 2008 and this will house the
secondary school in totally new, fully equipped modern
buildings. The primary school will remain on the existing
campus.
